Genius Hour- April 10- It was amazing!!!!!!!
Student led conferences
Student led conferences will be held on the evenings of April 10th and 11th, from 3:30-7:00. In our grade 3/4 class we will be using this time for learning centers where students can demonstrate what they have been learning and doing at school. This means that there may be several students working through the centers at the same time. There is an online sign up page on the school website, and I have posted a link on the home page of our class website, below. Many parents have already signed up- thanks! If you have not already done so please sign up. Generally parents are welcome to come whenever works for them, but I set a general guide organized by last names.
A-J: Wednesday April 10 3:30-5:00
K-P: Wednesday April 10 5:00-7:00
Q-S: Thursday April 11 3:30-5:00
T-Z: Thursday April 11 5:00-7:00.
If this time does not work- or you have booked a different time- that is just fine. Come whenever works for you!!!

Join Mrs. addley on a superhero adventure
This password protected website will be a collaborative year long project where students will be directly involved in the planning and maintenance of the website. There will be posts that will be primarily done by Mrs. Addley such as: the Year Plan and Subject Updates, but there will be many sections that will be student designed and written such as Daily Messages.
The Grade 3/4 Superhero Website will be a year long journey where we will develop our own unique superpowers.
There are several ways to navigate this site. Use the drop down boxes on the top of the page, or if it is easier, there is a page for each month that has quick links to subject areas.

Help Gracie Hear
We have a little girl in our class, named Gracie who needs hearing aids. Gracie's hearing loss is impacting her ability to learn, and we want to work together as a community to help her get what she needs to be able to succeed. The cost of the hearing aids are $6,400. You will have two ways to donate to this special cause- a the gofund me page (link below) set up by Gracie's family and/or the read-a thon organized by the grade 3/4 class. Details on the read-a-thon will be provided next week, and all money raised from the read-a-thon will go directly to Thrive Hearing Solutions- where Gracie will be getting her hearing aids. Thank you for your support!

My goal this year is to post a WALT–We Are Learning To- at the beginning of every week. WALT will be posted on the bulletin board outside the class, in the classroom, and on our class website. There will be a WEEKLY WALT for the areas of Reading, Writing, Math, and Science or Social. This will help students to know what they will be learning each week. It will also help let parents know what WALT do.
